at Catholic Campus Ministry?
Breakfasts
(Tuesday
from 7:30 to 9:30am, sign up after Mass)
Fr.
Al Dash, our sacramental minister, cooks breakfast to start
you off to a great day. Sign up at Mass, or email Al at ajdash@alumni.ncsu.edu
by Sunday night. Let him know what time you plan to arrive,
and if you need a wake-up or reminder call (don't forget to
indicate time to call and phone number).
Community Night
(Wednesday at 6:00pm)
Food
and Fellowship every Wednesday evening at 6:00pm during the
school year. Students meet at the Newman Center to share in
a healthy and tasty home-cooked meal and great company in
a Christian environment.
Rosary
(Wednesday at 5:25, Thursday at 6:25)
Start
times are scheduled with Community night and "Why Catholic?"
in mind. We always have extra rosaries and print outs of the
prayers.

Ministry hosts numerous events throughout the year which include,
but are not limited to the following:

Carving & Ghost Walk

"Why
Catholic?" (Thursday at 7:00pm)
Fr.
Al Dash will be answering questions about your topics of choice.
Come to learn what you didn't know but always wanted to find
out. Discuss important issues about our faith and the church.
Youth Ministry
(see below)
This
ministry is dedicated to serving the middle school and high
school youth of the Wilmington area Catholic Churches. The
team goes out to local parishes to assist in their youth programs.
There are also "in-house" meetings to prepare for
the events on Wednesdays at 8:00pm after Community Night dinners.

and Volunteering
Want
to help plan events? Would you like a say in what happens
at Campus Ministry and volunteer your time? There will be
an important organizational meeting on Sunday, September 30.

Coming
Programs: Spring Semester
Small Faith Sharing Groups
(Spring Semester, 2008)
This
will be a weekly meeting of students with the purpose of forming
a strong and intentional Christian community. Meetings will
incorporate Bible readings, personal sharing, and application
of the Word to personal meaning.
Spring Break:
Service Project (March
1-8, 2008)
A
group of students will participate in an alternative spring
break with Christian Application Project in western Kentucky.
Contact Catholic Campus Ministry to express interest. Registration
for this event will begin in late November.
